Maggie’s Kitchen Tails Synopsis
by

Martha Char Love
Linda Victoria Hales

This book was written in honor of Maggie who found her way in life after being abused and tossed away a few hundred miles from where she lives today. Because she was abandoned at the early age of about (7) seven weeks her stomach did not develop normally and we found ourselves baking and dehydrating all of her meals until she is old enough to fight on her own.  All our recipes we have shared are human grade and you can eat them yourself!

The short stories in this recipe book are for your pleasure and ours.  Douglas and I (Rosemary “Mamie” Adkins) asked two other writers to co-author this book with both recipes and short stories to provide variety so that we can honor other wonderful four legged friends.  We have also found several puppy friends to write about and a rescue shelter.  Enjoy the feature story of the Hidden Creek Farm where your dogs go for vacations in a resort just for them.

Sandy, our sweet Labrador Retriever passed away a year ago and after a lengthy search, Maggie became our next canine child, and our book shares many stories about her. We also honor Pierre, Jenger and two Grand puppies, Dexter and Hershey.

Martha Char Love has a shih tzu Grand Puppy Momo and writes for you stories of their adventures on early morning walks and about Momo's favorite baking treats. She also shares stories about her late beloved shepherd dogs Elfie and Magic, as well as her chihuahua doggie neighbor, Aloha, who visits her everyday looking for a fresh baked treat. Visit Martha’s personal page for more about her at: http://www.amazon.com/Martha-Char-Love/e/B006L3QXUG/ref=ntt_dp_epwbk_0

Linda Hales shares her memories of two special canine friends, Baxter and Benji, together with some delightful recipes to tantalize even the most discerning doggie palate. These two remarkable friends belonged to her daughter Tammy, who has since passed. Be sure to check out Linda’s books for children at: http://www.amazon.com/Linda-Hales/e/B004YKW4QU/ref=ntt_dp_epwbk_0
